What does a travel consultant actually do & why you should use one.
Alan Caughey recently started his own travel business. After 29 years in the newspaper industry he was made redundant. Not wanting to continue in that industry, he decided to set up a business arranging golf travel.
He has played golf from his junior years and has always been involved with his local club. Back in 2007 he went on his first golf trip abroad, and he was hooked. Soon after this he was tasked with arranging the annual golfing break.
Fast forward to 2023 and with the contacts he had made and the knowledge he has gained, the time was right to take the plunge and make it into a business. In Jan 2024 he purchased a travel franchise, giving his access to hundreds of suppliers and many types of travel experiences to sell.
Not Just Travel has helped him gain knowledge on all aspects of travel, with regular training sessions and a huge support network. Somebody always has an answer, no matter how weird or wacky it might sound.
Alan will tell us why we should use a travel consultant and give us an insight into Universal Studios & Hotels in Orlando.
