Guest Speaker: Rodney Brown - Bowman Windows

Rodney Brown BA (Hons) has 39 years of experience in Sales & Marketing and Senior Management in a variety of businesses including textiles, bathrooms and PVC windows & Doors. He started his career with Coats Ltd, a global supplier of threads & fasteners to the textile trade, as a trainee Sales Rep just after leaving Queens University. He went on to hold down a number of key Sales & Marketing positions including National Sales Manager for UK & Ireland.

He was Sales Director for Adamsez Ltd, a Belfast-based bath & shower manufacturer, driving sales into the UK market for over 10 years.

Now based in Banbridge he is Sales & Marketing Manager for Bowman Windows, supplying the commercial sector & the general public with a variety of PVC-based products throughout Northern Ireland.

Rodney's knowledge & skills include setting targets & strategies and in spearheading the sales drive in order to achieve the results needed. Mentoring the team, providing help & assistance as well as direct selling are all things that he thrives on.

Working in a small company means that you get involved in nearly every day-to-day activity from meeting and greeting a client to helping the team with any pricing issues etc.

Rodney also directs the marketing for Bowman Windows dealing with the Press, Radio and writing all media releases.

Away from work, Rodney is a very keen walker with his wife and also follows very closely football including Manchester United & Portadown. He also loves to watch Ulster Rugby & the 6 Nations. He also helps his 2 children with their various DIY projects at their own houses.
